Since 2011, the Choir Las Veredas is fortunate to have Paula Mercedes Lozano, as accompanist for rehearsals and concerts, as also given the circumstance that is alumnus of the college.
Born in Madrid, she began her musical studies at the Municipal Music School of Colmenarejo at the age of six.
At the age of 17 she graduated from the Professional Degree in CIM "Padre Antonio Soler" in San Lorenzo De El Escorial under the tutelage of Isabel Vila and Javier Gómez Dólera, has also taken classes with PuertoGonz. Chavez.
She started her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid under the direction of Elena Orobio teacher.
Despite her youth, Paula Mercedes has an extensive experience in the professional world of music. She has attended numerous piano competitions for young musicians, among them: Finalist in the VII International Piano Competition "Anton Garcia Abril" in Teruel- 2010 Awarded the XIII National Piano Competition in Rio de León Órbigo 2011 , Luis Bertrand Prize XXVI International Music Course Matisse (2013) ... among others.
Continually expands her musical training with various national and international pianists courses, receiving lectures by various Teachers, such as Luis Fernando Pérez, Leonel Morales, Miguel Ituarte, Elena Orobio and Charles Matthews. Seminars Choral with Directors as: Basilio Astulez, David Azurza, Junkal Guerrero and Josu Elberdin.
Has offered small concerts in Spain and France (Paris, Madrid, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Segovia ...) as soloist, chamber group, concerts-exhibitions. Participated in music festivals, such as: "Horacio Icasto" in Navia- Asturias, "Leonel Morales Piano Festival" in Granada, in venues such as: Auditorio Instituto de América in Santa Fe, Centro Cultural Medina Elvira in Atarfe, Caja Rural in Granda, Room Cristobal Morales in the context Summer Classics San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Auditorio Museo del Prado... among others.
